The space was perfect for our party, allowing guests to mingle comfortably without feeling confined to one location unless they chose to be. The vast display of food was absolutely delicious, and our guests are still raving about it. Having held several events at McKenzie's, the previous name of the Jockey Tavern, we were thrilled to see the restaurant's amazing facelift. Despite the name change and new look, the quality and service we have come to expect remained impeccable. We were blown away by the outstanding service all our guests received from the staff. The room is a great size for 50-75 people (our usual count). It is nice to have some pool tables and other games available. I also like the fact we are allowed to bring in our own desserts. We decided once again to have our family Christmas celebration at Jockey Tavern's Polo Lounge. It is great for the little ones as they can travel round the room at will. We even had push cars! Booking an event was a very easy process. Zoe set up a call with my shortly after my inquiry and checked in a few times to solidify details leading up to the event. We hosted our annual work summer dinner/surprise bridal shower for a co-worker. The space was very nice, they printed out our pre-fixed menu options for each table setting and allowed an hour of set up to decorate before the reservation time. The food was delicious and prompt. I knew of the previous restaurant that occupied this space and was interested to see what it transformed into. First of all, the space is unrecognizable. It's very sophisticated and up-scale looking, but still provides a cozy and relaxed vibe. The event coordinator was attentive, responsive, and extremely helpful as I planned a large party in the downstairs trophy room. I held a surprise retirement party for my mother-in-law with all of her closest friends and loved ones. Many of our family/friends have younger children and the space was an absolute hit for both children and adults alike. The children had plenty of space to bop around while the adults were able to drink beer and cocktails and watch the US open on the smart TVs! (I highly recommend the espresso martini.) The space truly accommodated everyone. Bonus: you can play your own playlist if you have one prepared OR they will play one for you if you're like me and forgot to put one together. And don't get me started on the food! It was mouth-watering and did not disappoint. I consider myself a foodie and I absolutely loved it. The stuffed mushrooms are something I will be dreaming of until I come back! The space was beautiful and spacious and the food was a hit. Can't wait to come again!

The booking process was very easy and the event coordinator I was paired with was extremely attentive to any questions I had. We held a "roast" of our CEO. The Polo lounge had a mic system that was perfect for making this happen. Food was exceptional, a little bit of everything for everyone. Several people made comments to me after the event how satisfied they were with the food. There were plenty of drink options from spritz's to a range of beers. Some of the standout dishes were the stuffed mushrooms, the roast beef, and the fresh pasta. The crab and artichoke dip was also a major hit — it’s my personal favorite appetizer! Me and my fiancé chose The Jockey Tavern to host our wedding rehearsal dinner and it was one of the best wedding decisions we made! They were super accommodating to our special requests and very fast at responding to all questions. Out of all the restaurants we contacted and vendors we spoke to they were by far the easiest to communicate with and were very organized. All weekend the guests that were invited to our rehearsal kept bringing up how much fun they had, how much they enjoyed their dinner, and just how cool the polo lounge space was. The space offered lots of privacy from the rest of the restaurant and lots of space for our guests to spread out and mingle without being on top of each other. Many additional tables were in there for card games, and the couch for socializing and pool table have our guests many different options of things to do. The bar menu had a good variety of cocktails, wine and beer for everyone to find something they would like. I really can’t say enough good things about our experience with hosting our event at The Jockey Tavern.

I planned a holiday dinner for our ski club at The Polo Lounge at the Jockey Tavern. Planning the event was easy using the portal to communicate on menu and headcount as we neared our event date. Zoe, our event planner, was super responsive and helpful every step of the way. At our event, The Polo Lounge was beautifully decorated for the holiday season with festive centerpieces at the dinner tables, and with the pool table and comfortable seating areas, helped everyone socialize while pre-dinner cocktails were enjoyed at the private bar. We were able to have a slide show of club photos on one of the multiple screens in the room, which guests loved. We enjoyed appetizers, and then the Carvery dinner. Guests complimented the food, venue and service frequently during the night. We felt like we got a great value for our budget and would definitely return!

By chance, the date was available so we secured the space with the manager on duty! Connecting with Zoe at the Jockey Tavern, was simple and she provided all details in a simplified way and process. The event space was beautifully decorated, and gave off a country club vibe in the Polo Lounge. We loved the private space, proximity of restrooms being in the same space, and the lounge area. The food was excellent and the prices were all reasonable. We ended up extending our party and the wait staff and event manager worked with us to make that happen without any fuss. I highly recommend this space for any event!

We had an amazing experience at the Jockey Tavern for our companies annual holiday party which consisted of around 65 people. We secured the Trophy Room and it was perfect for our group. The room was decorated beautifully for the holidays, and had plenty of space to sit at a table, or stand and mingle. The food was amazing!! Our entire group raved about the quality of the food, in particular the short ribs! The bar selection and service was top notch! We are already looking into securing a date for our holiday party next year! Thank you Jockey Tavern for hosting a beautiful night for us!

The Christmas trees, library aesthetic, pool table, and mix of high-top tables created a dynamic environment for mingling, photo opportunities, and more. The food and drinks were stellar too. We held our son’s first birthday party in the Polo Lounge downstairs at the Jockey Tavern and it was absolutely perfect. The space itself is decorated tastefully and fun—I didn’t even need to bring decorations because it already looked great. The pool table was a fantastic option that gave guests something fun to do, and the seating area worked wonderfully as a hangout spot for the kids. The staff set up the space beautifully and made the entire process seamless. They were incredibly communicative, friendly, and helpful, and they were responsive to every request, which truly helped the event run smoothly. The food was excellent, and several of my guests commented on how good everything was. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend the Jockey Tavern for hosting a special event.

Family Christmas Party Our family is 50+ people so the downstairs space is perfect for us. There are lots of little ones running around and this way they don't bother other guests. And the new room is just so nice! It's just absolutely perfect for us! You have your own bar and bartender and they are very accommodating! Already left a message to book next year's !

Year 4 for our December Staff Meeting - and the revamp of the Polo Room was a hit! The bar moving from the center of the room to the side, as well the all new lighting downstairs has really turned this already nice spot into a sophisticated location. We loved the little coves when smaller groups could gather, and were glad to see the pool table was still available. The staff was friendly and attentive - and the upgrades to the presentation tech made it SO much easier to give our short presentations this year. Great place for a gathering of 45-50 people.
