Step into The Trophy Room, an intimate yet distinguished banquet space at The Jockey Tavern, where tradition and elegance meet. Wrapped in warm green tones, this refined setting is anchored by a handsome wood carved fireplace casting a soft glow over the room. Rich walnut bookshelves flank the fireplace displaying curated equestrian artifacts, vintage trophies, and leather bound books, paying homage to the timeless spirit of the sport.

The Veranda at The Jockey Tavern offers an elevated outdoor experience with its own dedicated bar, open-air seating beneath a crisp white arbor, and a vibrant equestrian mural that adds a sense of place and celebration. Most of the space is covered and thoughtfully protected from wind and rain, allowing your event to go on in comfort—rain or shine. Café-style string lights create a warm, ambient glow as the sun sets, while a nearby fireplace lounge and landscaped borders complete the scene. For a fun and lively social event, consider The High Tops. Located adjacent to the main bar the area is anchored with a magnificent 18 foot stone fireplace with regal buffalo taxidermy.   • We recently hosted an event for roughly 100 people at the Jockey Tavern in Malvern, and I cannot praise the experience enough. The service was top-notch from start to finish. The space was perfect for our party, allowing guests to mingle comfortably without feeling confined to one location unless they chose to be. The vast display of food was absolutely delicious, and our guests are still raving about it. Having held several events at McKenzie's, the previous name of the Jockey Tavern, we were thrilled to see the restaurant's amazing facelift. Despite the name change and new look, the quality and service we have come to expect remained impeccable. We were blown away by the outstanding service all our guests received from the staff. A special shout-out to the bartenders who went above and beyond to help make our event a success. We look forward to hosting many more events at the Jockey Tavern. Highly recommended!

  • The Chester County Concert Band (of which I am the President) has had many of our holiday parties here. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. The room is a great size for 50-75 people (our usual count). It is nice to have some pool tables and other games available. I also like the fact we are allowed to bring in our own desserts. We look forward to booking next year as well!

  • We decided once again to have our family Christmas celebration at Jockey Tavern's Polo Lounge. It is great for the little ones as they can travel round the room at will. We even had push cars! The young people enjoyed the games. The adults had plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy one another's company. Guests traveled from Lewes, DE as well as Scranton/Wilkes Barre area to attend. Staff was quite attentive to our needs. We'll definitely be back!

  • Last October, our son was married in St Paul, Mn. A number of friends and family from this area were not able to make the wedding, so we put together an East Coast Celebration Tour. We did the mimosa bar and our guests loved getting to pick out different flavors to mix. Drew and Zoe helped make sure every detail was perfect. They helped make the planning process so easy! We got so many compliments on the overall space, food, drinks, and staff.   • Booking an event was a very easy process. Zoe set up a call with my shortly after my inquiry and checked in a few times to solidify details leading up to the event. We hosted our annual work summer dinner/surprise bridal shower for a co-worker. The space was very nice, they printed out our pre-fixed menu options for each table setting and allowed an hour of set up to decorate before the reservation time. The food was delicious and prompt. The staff introduced themselves right away and were very attentive. It was a very easy/ nice experience and I would book with Jockey again!

  • I knew of the previous restaurant that occupied this space and was interested to see what it transformed into. First of all, the space is unrecognizable. It's very sophisticated and up-scale looking, but still provides a cozy and relaxed vibe. The event coordinator was attentive, responsive, and extremely helpful as I planned a large party in the downstairs trophy room. I held a surprise retirement party for my mother-in-law with all of her closest friends and loved ones. Many of our family/friends have younger children and the space was an absolute hit for both children and adults alike. The children had plenty of space to bop around while the adults were able to drink beer and cocktails and watch the US open on the smart TVs! (I highly recommend the espresso martini.) The space truly accommodated everyone. Bonus: you can play your own playlist if you have one prepared OR they will play one for you if you're like me and forgot to put one together. And don't get me started on the food! It was mouth-watering and did not disappoint. I consider myself a foodie and I absolutely loved it. The stuffed mushrooms are something I will be dreaming of until I come back! The space was beautiful and spacious and the food was a hit. Can't wait to come again!

  • We booked the polo lounge for our company CEO's retirement party and the space was perfect! It was spacious, quiet, had great ambiance. The booking process was very easy and the event coordinator I was paired with was extremely attentive to any questions I had. We held a "roast" of our CEO. The Polo lounge had a mic system that was perfect for making this happen. Food was exceptional, a little bit of everything for everyone. Several people made comments to me after the event how satisfied they were with the food. There were plenty of drink options from spritz's to a range of beers. The private bathrooms were also very clean and nice to have right there. 10/10 experience we had with the Jockey Tavern!

I want to give a big thank you to Zoe, Michael, and Endedson for their help and support in planning the event — they made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the space, the food, and the drinks. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Some of the standout dishes were the stuffed mushrooms, the roast beef, and the fresh pasta. The crab and artichoke dip was also a major hit — it’s my personal favorite appetizer! I’m already looking forward to hosting another event there. I would happily recommend The Jockey to anyone planning a special occasion.

  • Me and my fiancé chose The Jockey Tavern to host our wedding rehearsal dinner and it was one of the best wedding decisions we made! They were super accommodating to our special requests and very fast at responding to all questions. Out of all the restaurants we contacted and vendors we spoke to they were by far the easiest to communicate with and were very organized. All weekend the guests that were invited to our rehearsal kept bringing up how much fun they had, how much they enjoyed their dinner, and just how cool the polo lounge space was. The space offered lots of privacy from the rest of the restaurant and lots of space for our guests to spread out and mingle without being on top of each other. Many additional tables were in there for card games, and the couch for socializing and pool table have our guests many different options of things to do. The bar menu had a good variety of cocktails, wine and beer for everyone to find something they would like. I really can’t say enough good things about our experience with hosting our event at The Jockey Tavern.
